Vintage GOVERNOR WW2 Era Boy Size Watch, SWISS Made 15 Jewel, Good hotsell Vintage Condition, Circa 1940's-------Serviced---------

From the 1940's a very fine SWISS Made GOVERNOR, WW2 Era "Boy Size' Watch presented in very good condition.
This smaller size watch was the preferred size worn by serving troops during WW2, its smaller size making less prone to damage. Today the size of the watch makes it an ideal wear for either Him or Her.
The case is in good condition, with wear in keeping with its age and pedigree, the case measures 29mm in width excluding the crown.
The dial is in good vintage condition with some markings, there is also hotsell a sub second dial at the 6 marker.
The crystal is new, having been replaced during our service.
The case back is stainless steel.
The SWISS made movement is the iconic Schild Cal AS984 commonly found in watches of this size and age, the 15 Jewel movement has been serviced and the watch is presented in good working order.
Presented on a new 16mm leather strap.
