This is the perfect ''Up North" necklace. It is casual yet refined and features the ever-popular Petoskey stone hanging inside a couple of free swinging sterling silver hoops. It has plenty of fun, eye-catching motion.
Petoskey stones are a fossilized coral most often found in Lake Michigan. The vast majority are found in the Little Traverse Bay region of Lake Michigan near the towns of Petoskey and Harbor Springs, Michigan. It is Michigan's state fossil.
Petoskey stones vary in color and pattern. Your necklace will be unique and the stones may not look exactly like these. I work with a local stone cutter and personally choose the best for my jewelry. I have included photos of several pendants so you can see some of the variation that is possible.
This pendant is about 1.6 inches in diameter. The Petoskey stone is about a half inch in diameter.
Please choose a chain length for your pendant. I have included a reference photograph. My favorite chain length for this pendant is 20 inches.
This listing is for ONE pendant only. Some of the photos include the matching earrings which can be found at this listing. https://www.etsy.com/listing/724094753/petoskey-stone-and-sterling-silver?ref=shop_home_active_1&frs=1
I designed and hand made these silver earrings in my Northern Michigan workshop.
This will be sent to you in a gift box, whether it is a gift for yourself or a loved one.
Each piece that leaves my workshop is marked on the back with "IE" so you know it is an IndigoEdenArts original and ".925" which certifies that it is made of sterling silver.
Enjoy! hotsell
