Novel acrylic and maybe spray paint art on cardboard Los Algodones B.C. Mexico by ? Davier Lara in 2000. Not positive of the technique of this work but the background could be spray paint and the foreground acrylic but unknown. The background is glossy smooth similar to spray paint art. There is a crease in the cardboard that can be seen on the left side of the 3rd photo. The frame is worn with nicks. The artist's name is also unclear and might be Davier Lara, or even Javier Zara. This was a "rescued" piece that I thought was cool enough to preserve maybe as a type of modern southwestern folk art, and was found taped to the frame when acquired, and the piece was then cleaned as best as possible and reset in the frame and covered with brown paper on the back as shown in the photos. The last two photos show the front and back of the work before reframing. The last photo shows the back of the work where the artist wrote his/her name, date, and location (this is now covered by a piece of foam board and brown paper which could be removed by the buyer if needed.). Frame measures 18 1/2" x 15 1/2" and has nicks and wear. hotsell
