Product code: 1950’s Israeli Brass Menorah with screw down design & industrial hotsell curvature look
Rare Menorah for Hanukkah made in Israel of solid brass in the Midcentury Modern period of design. Etched signature “ISRAEL” on the bottom of the candelabra. Dimensions: 8” tall, 6 3/8” wide. Weighs about 14 ounces. Have not polished, so there is a nice and authentic 70 year old patina on the brass. Nice industrial lathe work on the central beam of this Menorah. Each candle holder is screwed into the Menorah branches. The round brass base is screwed in too. This is a rare Mid Century design smallish size Israeli Menorah that appears to be made in a metals' plant utilizing precision tool molds and methods modified for making hotsell some Menorahs for the holiday season.
