Etching by the German animal painter and etcher Johann Elias Ridinger (born February 15, 1698 in Ulm, † April 10, 1767 in Augsburg). Studied in Regensburg at Count Metternich's court. 1717 studies at the imperial city academy of Georg Philipp Rugendas. In 1759 he became director of the Augsburg Art Academy. Equestrian representation of a horse in a trap. Inscribed in French, German and Latin. Signed. Only slight signs of aging. Nice condition. Framed in a wooden frame behind glass. Frame dimensions: 46.5 x 35 cm.
