Everyone seem to be in a rush these days. We have so many things to distract us, that we are unlikely to notice the beauty of life around us. This lovely picture is here to remind us to be thankful for our life and instead of taking it for granted, we learn to appreciate the simple things before it is too late.

About the Artist:
Christine Porter Lofaro began her artistic career when she was still young. She was a student of art at the Malta Government School of Art and also at the Society of Arts Manufactures and Commerce in Valletta. Her styles and techniques continued to develop under the private tuition of Mr. Harry Alden, who was one of Bridget Riley's students.

Aside from 16 years of teaching experience, Christine holds an honours degree in Art and a Master's degree in Creativity and Innovation from the University of Malta. She was awarded a Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield (UK) with research on studio spaces and creativity in 2016. Christine is a full-time artist and a visiting lecturer at the Department of Digital Arts within the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences (MAKS) at the University of Malta.

Christine's painting "As they all Flow" was placed second in the Negroni 100 Art Competition held earlier this year.
