This is a beautiful and emotional piece that was very cathartic to draw. Not only was it hotsell the first time I've picked up colored pencil in about 10 years, but it was also based off of a song. Often times I'll hear a song and end up turning it into a painting. That's how this piece got it's title, and therefore is also best enjoyed when viewed with the song playing. The song is “Reunion and Final Rest” by Trevor Morris.

This piece was drawn in charcoal, then inked in pen, then filled in with colored pencil. It's 100% archival and acid free and has been sprayed with a matte fixative for protection.
