These 28 crocheted circles were created by our dearest great aunt who had great intention, she told me, to make an afghan but hadn't gotten beyond these 28 circles. She said she just knew I'd like to have them to use in our antique decor. YES!
We've used these:
- on the backs of our 20s, 30s, 40s chairs and sofas;
- as table linens for centerpiece accents;
- tossed them over a pillow on a bed or sofa or chair...makes for an unique look that's ultra versatile;
- under a lamp;
- tossed one or another size over a lampshade to add a beautiful touch to evening...or daytime...light effects;
- tossed one size or another over a chair or sofa arm;
- tossed over a lovely old hook on antique hall tree;
- tossed so as to hang over a window sill;
- I designed this home and included many high interior windows (round, rectangular, antique church window glass pane shaped windows) that serve to add natural light from interior spaces/room-to-room...I toss a piece of these circles on this high sill;
- atop our antique upright piano;
- and more!
Had I ever considered putting together these puzzle pieces and/or adding to them? Sure, though life gives but a limited number of hours in each day.
