Alpaca - mawata silk - pulled sari silk - merino - one of its kind, unique, nuno/wet felted by hand in a cobweb manner which means the fibers have been felted in a manner that allows some areas to be more transparent/bare than others; this is what gives it a softer drape and lighter look and feel. The lightness allows you to wrap it around your neck without it feeling bulky.
Made from alpaca hand dyed yellow blended with multi colored pulled sari silk was used as the base. On the top side a layer of mawata silk hankies hotsell that were hand dyed colors of green and turquoise along with ones that were hand dyed with gold and yellow. On top of the silk was added a merino wool top that was dyed in pale shades of greens, peach and cream. This scarf is extra long and soft and can be wrapped in a variety of ways. It can be worn on either side.
This scarf measures 62"Lx13"W. The mannequin the scarf is pictured on is a size small so please check the measurement sizes listed for a more accurate idea of how it would fit.
The pictures I have taken are as accurate in color as I can get but may vary on different monitors.
Hand wash seperately in cold water - mild detergent - hang dry or lay flat and press with iron if needed.
All products are created and stored in my smoke free/pet free home.
