Product code: Peace Power hotsell and Plenty by Orison Swett Marden 1909 Hardback
No dust cover. Good condition. Foxing on outer edges of paper. Exposure of a book or other paper materials to water or more often high humidity over the materials' life is the key or gating factor in the development of foxing stains. I am not a book expert. There is some cracking on the inside opening cover between the paper and the spine but not pulled apart from the spine. See 3rd photo. This book is still being printed today so it has withstood the test of time of creating value. This book is the original printing in 1909, 113 years ago. The interest it holds for me is this was his thinking during this period of history before our world wars when America was a simpler place to live and before psychiatry and psychology reached the point where it is today. It is also interesting that he doesn't hotsell push Christian ideology as the answer to everything but rather using the mind to overcome things. That is actually very Buddhist in thought although I believe he was unaware of that.
