It is a mixed media work of art in which a wide variety of materials are used. I usually work with watercolors in artist quality, various inks and inks, acrylic paint and various pens. I have a special soft spot for shimmering watercolor, special papers and gold leaf or impact metal, which I often incorporate into my works.
I pay attention to a good paper quality (at least a grammage of 300g) and also to lightfast colors.
Almost all my pictures shine due to the shimmer accents used, often in gold or copper, so that they look different depending on the incidence of light or capture small light reflections in the room. As a result, they are alive and moving.
The images are compressed, interesting and inspiring. At least that's how I would like them to be perceived. When painting, I get into a flow, work completely immersed with the resulting work. It's a creative, contemplative process. I wish that my pictures reflect this and that the viewer feels the same joy hotsell when looking at them as I do when making them.
