This piece is made out of crepe paper, sculpted on wire. Both the frame and the flower are entirely handmade and lots of valuable time has been put into creating this original piece.

❃CONCEPT❃

The “BOTANICS”, the first official SERRO collection, containing both original art and design objects, revolves around the most powerful life forms that inhabit our Blue Planet. They have been here long before us and will be here long after we`re gone and their fabulous shapes and life power is nearly miraculous.
While humans and animals have countless frailties and depend on the mercy of the environment, the botanical life keeps on developing, growing and conquering territories we could only wish to inhabit.
Our collection is dedicated to the world of the plants and to men and women capable to understand how dependent humanity is on greens. Without overreacting on environmental issues, but while keeping a close eye on the importance of botanical forms in our lives, we try to underline both the strength of this world and it`s urban decadence.
Without a human maintenance, the stamina of the plant world would imminently take over and reclaim it`s land – So how fragile are we, exactly? More or less fragile than the plants we so treasure?
Keeping the history of the modern and contemporary arts in mind, with an affinity for pop art, pop culture and urban arts, we have built an altar for the chlorophyll. Explicitly describing their longevity in the harsh conditions humanity has created, we take on the theme of botanic to a new, deeper level.
Using textured base to recreate the feel and touch of the urban areas and using a large palette, from very bright to pitch black, we contour our own vision of the green world, underlining both the joyful and the dark sides of their existence.
We approach various styles, from realistic to abstract, to best describe the complexity of our co-existence: a blurry side, in which we can`t fully comprehend the importance of the green life and a clear side, in which we try to both destroy and non-organically create the “life creators” on which we are so greatly dependent.
Created in a pet-free & smoke-free environment.

❃CLEANING❃

The cleaning can be made with a soft dust puff. Don`t use any sharp or abrasive objects for cleaning and don`t submerge in water. Best to keep out of direct sunlight.
