The White Ethiopian Welo Opal is a precious Opal. The name Opal comes from an Indian (Sanskrit) word for Stone. Opal is divided into three groups: The precious Opals, the yellow to red Fire Opals and the common Opals. The best thing about Opals are their Play of Color (The Rainbow Effect) and that they contain anywhere from 3% to 30% Water.
