This is an exquisite and hard to find 17 inch, fine rib, carnival glass vase from Northwood Glass. It dates from between 1908 and 1925. Unusual in its size, and in collectible cobalt blue base color, the vase has Northwood's brilliant iridescence. The vase has no base mark. It is in excellent antique condition with manufacturing inconsistencies normal for antique glass but no notable topside wear. As shown in the last listing image, the vase has a very small 2 mm chip on the base rim that is unnoticeable when displayed.
Please review listing photos as they document the condition of vintage items better than can be fully described. All items are described as accurately as possible including notable wear or damage (e.g. chips hotsell, cracks, deep scratches, pattern loss etc.). However, items are twenty or more years old and they may have other light wear, consistent with their vintage age and a lifetime of use, that is impossible to detail in item listings (e.g. light scruffs or scratches, pattern fading etc.). I encourage you to ask any questions prior to purchase. At RelicLode, you may return an item, but buyers are required to pay return postage.
All items are shipped in recycled packaging, including reused boxes, whenever possible.
