This is from my personal collection and this Nikkormat has traveled the world. This camera has been well taken care of. I have produced amazing photos over the years. The hotsell nikkormat line is a workhorse, dependable and a fully mechanical film camera. The Nikkormat FT was soon replaced by the FTn, followed by the FT-2. Each model featured progressive improvements to the metering systems and the addition of a hot shoe, along with a number of internal tweaks. Fully mechanical, only needs a battery for meter and camera still works if battery dies. This Camera is operating flawlessly, including an accurate meter. The sad news is that it was dropped and it suffered a dent to the top of the prism. This is has zero effect on functionality. This camera has been heavily discounted for this reason. Showing only a hint of brassing on a few edges. The viewfinder is bright and clear. The lens is in excellent condition. It has clean glass, silky smooth focus and aperture movements. Takes excellent images, soft pleasing bokeh at large apertures. This lens in particular has very nice color rendition. This Nikon Zoom can cover many different shooting subjects from landscape to the perfect portrait when zoomed in. This is a solid manual film camera, built like a tank. Includes new batteries. When a camera comes into the shop it is carefully examined and fully tested. Many of my cameras are serviced to ensure many more years of service. A full service usually costs $150 plus. I don't add that full $150 to the camera price at my shop.
