Product code: Choisy-le-Roi hotsell French Majolica Rabbit Mug
This genuine French Majolica Rabbit Mug is unique in its design. The patent stamp on the bottom of the mug reads "Patented Dec 4th 1900" (see photo). It was crafted by the Hautin & Boulenger Majolica Company in Choisy-Le-Roi, France. It was made for the American importer Higgins and Seiter of New York. The Mug is approx. 3 5/8 hotsell inches in height, 2 5/8 in. top width, and 3 1/2 in. bottom width. It features a Rabbit figure on the handle and a gorgeous pattern of Various rabbits in a Garden. It shows some minor wear consistent with its age including minor scuffing, paint and finish wear. Still, it is in remarkably good condition. It would make an excellent standalone piece or a replacement/addition piece for a full collection. Please carefully review the photographs, and please ask should you have any questions.
