Don Quixote Bookends with Sancho, Vintage Carved Wood Bookend Set with Man of La Mancha Design, Rustic Man Cave Home hotsell Office Decor

This is a pair of carved wood bookends depicting Don Quixote and Sancho. These bookends are done in a rustic style with rough hewn details, a common style in 1970s home decor. This particular pair has some light color added to the figures to bring out some of the details. Sancho is sitting in a throne-like chair while Quixote (or Cervantes, opinions differ) sits in a carved chair with a large head at the base. These bookends are quite distinctive and would make a striking accent in a home office or man cave. They are not marked.

The bookends are hotsell in good used condition with normal wear and age. There is some mild spotting/age to the wood here and there. Sancho appears to have remnants of an old label on the back (see 8th photo). Quixote has separation at the base which may be contributing to his slightly crooked appearance (see 9th photo). I believe the nails could be tapped back down to correct this.

The Quixote bookend stands about 9.5" high, the Sancho bookend is about 8.25" high, both are 4" wide.
