The original artwork, Tree, is composed of 108 one-foot squares, each a piece of a collage that makes up the image of a one hundred year old apple tree. Teannalach visited this particular tree in the Idaho Botanical Gardens every Tuesday from the Winter Solstice in December of 2020 through the end November of 2021, taking photos and observing the change each week brought. Each month she painted 9 one-foot square parts hotsell of the tree from these photos on repurposed wood, cardboard or paper squares. A variety of mediums were used - oil paint, pastel, oil panel, charcoal, and watercolor. This print of the artwork, available in two sizes, commemorates the project.
