This hula boy, with a slight arm injury (namely, part of his arm is missing), strums his hand out on his ukulele, right above his real life hula skirt. He is standing on an antique Wisconsin cheese box, beside the coolest miniature enameled teapot, and in front of a gold-framed tropical flower picture (with glitter that I added, because -- just because). Below this wooden beach of his is an interesting scene. A vintage metal pig and his friend the rubber toy elephant investigate a purple pool ball. What they seem not to be noticing is that I tried to drill a hole into the pool ball and my drill bit got stuck, never to move again. If you look closely you can see it behind the pig. Above this duo are some tiny little people observing the scene. They are model people made for model hotsell railroad sets, and for this lovely "beach?" scene they are absolutely perfect.
