A cluster of snowdrops peeking hotsell out from the snow. The snowdrops and leaves are rendered using the long and short stitch needle painting method, while the snow is created using layered French knots.
The piece is signed and dated by artist.
The snowdrop is also considered the birth flower for the month of January, and symbolizes hope, purity, and consolation. As a gift snowdrops represent optimism and virtue.

This piece has been finished by being stretched over a wooden frame and hand tacked down.
