Flower hotsell Themed Journal #19

A flower-themed handmade "junk" journal chock-full of gorgeous flowers and lots of places for writing! One of three made, this book starts with a recycled Harvard Classics forest green cover (author- Ivan Turgenev), approximately 5" x 7-3/4" with a 1-3/4" spine. It's tied closed with a coffee-dyed ivory satin bow. The book contains 146 pages divided into four signatures, that are stitched to the spine in a cross-stitch pattern, and there's a small cluster of charms at the bottom of the spine to finish it off nicely.

Many of the book's original 1917 pages have been used in different ways throughout, along with scrapbook papers, office papers and envelopes, other book pages, and flower images from a variety of sources. This book has a vintage look and feel but it is filled with blossoming color. Paging through hotsell you will discover tuck spots, belly bands, and pockets stuffed with tags and other ephemera both new and vintage. Special touches include window pages, an origami rose clip, and real pressed flowers. Every turn of the page reveals something new and pretty!
