Needle Felted Bearded Tit hotsell

I found these little birds extremely interesting and cute so I had to make one. It's 100% needle felted, I specialize in faux taxidermy (especially of birds). He's made from wool fiber, clay (beak and talons) glass eyes and wire armature. He's a bit larger than life sized

Needle felting is a process that involves poking wool roving over and over again with a barded needle. As you poke the roving, it starts to take shape. It's an extremely long process but it's become my favorite activity.

I am also a passionate bird lover. Every one of my birds has hours of study of the anatomy and behavior.
