This is the "Dungeons and Dragons Basic Set" from TSR. It was printed in 1979 and is the 6th printing of this version that was originally published in 1977. hotsell The set contains the 48 page rulebook, the Dungeon Module B2 "The Keep on the Borderlands", the randomizer chits and a sheet on how to use the chits. This printing did not ship with dice, but instead had randomizer chits. These chits simulated dice rolls for people that did not have access to the polyhedral dice required to play. The chit sheet in this copy is completely uncut and in near perfect condition. The books have no writing on them and are in great shape, other than rusting on the staples (See pictures 8 and 9). There is no significant damage to the box. All corners are solid and there are no rips or tears. There is some minor scuffing and shelf wear on the box cover, especially the corners.
