The primary difference between them is that engraving is a physical process, and etching is a chemical process. An engraver uses sharp hotsell tools to cut lines directly into a surface, while an etcher burns lines into a surface with acid.

The 2-piece set includes a cake knife and a cake server/lifter, both with our matching Silver Hammered handles. They are easily personalized to keep as a memory of that special day or maybe use again on anniversaries. Finished in a non-tarnishing, brightly polished nickel-plate. The cake server is 11.25" L and the knife is 13" L.
Personalize this item with your names and date. The engraving will be in the middle of the server. If you choose to have an additional wording in the second sentance like we have shown in the example please include it with the engraving.
