Superb Midcentury Elzac Ceramic Copper Buddha Brooch & Earrings Set Thai Buddha Copper Jewelry Set Elzac Victim of Fashion hotsell Thai Buddha Mask
From a personal collection this figural mask pin and matching earrings.
From a personal collection hotsell, this figural mask pin and matching earrings is comprised of copper and ceramic and attributed to the Elzac Victim of Fashion company.
Dating to the 1940s, the brooch measures approximately 3 inches high and 2 inches wide, while the earrings each measure approximately 1 1/8 inch high and 3/4 inch wide.
The set is unmarked, which is typical of this company.
It's a fabulous example of midcentury copper jewelry, as well as of Buddha themed pieces.
In good used vintage condition with minimal wear, this set would be pretty close to perfect if not for a small paint flakes off of the tip of Buddha‘s nose on the brooch as well as on the very edge of one of his ears. I personally feel like it is fine exactly as it is, though I'm sure the next owner would be able to touch it up a bit if desired.
