Art deco Terrier sculptured pin tray. Green marble or onyx tray with no felt bottom so you can see the old type nuts attaching the figurine. Stone feels like hard stone and polished, looks onyx but could be another hotsell stone, Figurine has gold wash color nonmagnetic and thinking spelter metal. Has good weight at little under 1 1/2 pound. Stone tray is 6 3/4" long and 3 1/2" widest part at center bowl, stone is 3/4" thick.
Very well done. Seen these called Art Deco, Austrian, Mid Century, what ever it is the dog is well done for size but little larger then I'm used to. Vintage, nicely detailed with dog a hair loose on base, nice size dog at just 3 1/2" long and 2" tall not counting marble.
Tray has its light scuffs, scratches, finish wear, stone edge feels ruff with large chip left front on bottom edge of bowl shown in last picture and nicks about. Dog has nice patina, stone has good grain, mixed colors and looks great!
