"The Man Without a Country" is a classic by author Edward Everett Hale first published during the Civil War in Atlantic magazine in 1863. This edition is profusely illustrated with plates and published by Little, Brown, and Co. in Boston copyrighted in 1888 and printed in 1898. The covers are decorative hard cover cloth with gold embossed eagle design and lettering also to the binding. Condition: VG(Very Good)-Covers and binding have some moderate staining and/or soiling as well as corner bumps, creases and abrasions. Boards and endpapers have some minor markings. Spine has some minor cracking(not split) but is fully and firmly intact. Interior pages are supple mostly off-white with only some slight tanning and/or foxing. Overall, the book has excellent presentation and there are no loose or missing pages.
