Even though the faintly green or blue color is nearly indistinguishable from some Dry Creek turquoise, the Appaloosa turquoise in this simple sterling silver ring has the classic gray Appaloosa spots that easily identify it as true Appaloosa turquoise.
The diggings where white Appaloosa turquoise is found have an excellent pedigree. Nearby mines include the site where Lander Blue turquoise was found as well as mines such as Fox, Carico Lake, Number Eight, Blue Gem, and Stormy Mountain. This new mine is remarkable for its many varieties of matrix patterns and colors. It includes a little of this light-colored to white, hard turquoise. I think Appaloosa will be a very important turquoise going forward into the future. It has everything going for it. Don't be surprised to see its costs reevaluated with much higher prices in the near future. It's that good. I think the time to start collecting hotsell Appaloosa turquoise is definitely now.
