Multiple Items:
If you order several items from my Shop, they will be packed inside the same gift box to avoid waste. If you are ordering gifts for multiple persons and you do need separate gift boxes, please let me know in the Notes section of your order in the Shopping Cart.
About Shipping:
I ship most orders 1 to 3 days after they are received. Orders ship free in the US via First Class Package Service, but if you need your package sooner, upgrades to Priority Mail or Express Mail can be purchased during Checkout. If you need more certainty, Message me to discuss options for UPS 2-day and Next Day Air. A signature will be required for orders valued over $500. If it's inconvenient to sign for packages at your home address, during checkout you can provide the address of another place where someone will be available to sign - perhaps at your work or the home of a trusted friend.
The Nature of Mother Nature
Almost nothing in nature is completely round, smooth or even, so I avoid making my glass food sculptures too perfectly. I put on little splotches and speckles, make them lopsided, and add other small imperfection so that each egg is unique. This makes them look much more real. This particular egg has a black speck on the surface that you can see in the third picture.
Process and Materials:
I make each of these glass fried eggs individually using a free-hand method, so no two are ever the same. Though the process takes many steps, it allows me to make some eggs that look as though they are more cooked, with lighter colored, flatter yolks. I hotsell can make others that look less cooked because their yolks are higher, are more orange in color, and have more uncooked clear albumin around the yolk.
Custom Orders:
If you'd like a glass fried egg that's different (such as more cooked, or a different shape) check my other listings. If you don't see something you like, request a Custom Order and I'll make it for you.
