Product code: Vintage beaded cardigan angora wool blend hotsell beige with gold bronze glass beads pearl buttons NOS Never Worn midcentury cropped cardigan Large

This gorgeous cardigan is a beige angora wool blend with clusters of glass beaded flowers on the front and beading around the collar and button placket. It's a large size, which is hard to come by with these cardigans. And it's even more special because it has never been worn, its original hotsell tags are still attached and it's in its original bag. It's in mint condition. Since cropped cardigans are in style right now, you'll be even trendier by wearing a vintage one!

The beads are gold and bronze colored glass seed beads. It has glass white pearl buttons down the front.

I would consider this a size large—or as the bag says, “generously cut.” Its tag says size 42 but today's sizes don't necessarily equate, so please go by these measurements to determine if it will fit. It is about 44” underarm to underarm, 32” around the bottom (which would fall at the waist or above) and 21 ½” long from the shoulder to the bottom. The sleeves are about 19” long. Of course, if you don't button the buttons, it can be a little larger.

I have more pics than I was able to post; let me know if you'd like to see them.

The lining is the same color and covers the bodice. The sleeves are not lined (common with these cardigans).

I don't see any moth holes. There's one very small spot that could just be the wool color, but see the pic.

The wool is 20% angora, 10% nylon, and 20” lambs wool. The maker's label says “Harilela's Hand Beaded in Hong Kong.” These were commonly made in the 1950s or 1960s.

I do my best to describe all condition issues but may inadvertently miss some. Please keep in mind that when buying vintage items, you are purchasing something that is pre-loved and used. Most vintage items show signs of wear and may have defects, but that is also what makes them so unique.
