Red CERAMIC TEAPOT | rustic midnight merlot tea pot, circular, speckled stoneware, artistic juicy dripping glaze, one-of-a-kind, good hotsell pour
This red teapot has redefined the classic hoop handle It's thick and circular but joins.
This red teapot has redefined the classic hoop handle. It's thick and circular, but joins to the back of the pot for strength and is more ergonomic to pour. A rustic beauty with a luxurious color. A great gift for any tea drinker any any teapot collector.
My proprietary Midnight Merlot glaze is a thick, rich, artistic combination of three glazes (and a few technique tricks) that shows dark wine, burgundy, black, gray, and multiple shades of deep renaissance reds. The bottom edge of the glaze has a tactile dimension, sometimes subtle, sometimes very thick and flowing. Uniquely luxurious, this glaze took me two years to perfect. (This is also quite an expensive glaze and hikes the pricing up.)
This piece shows my signature diagonal dip for a juxtaposed meeting of glossy glaze and smooth satin dark clay.
The pot is about 7.5” tall, holds over 2 cups of water, and has a very solid 'pour' with no dripping. If you would like matching teacups, I have a few listed on Etsy separately. Just search my shop for "teacup"; they're also in this same midnight merlot glaze.
