The Trocar, perhaps the most widely appreciated tool in Embalming. This tool is used in the Aspiration process to drain gases and fluids from the body, then cleaned and used to inject cavity preservatives back in. This hotsell vintage Trocar measuring 22" in length, was manufactured by Royal Embalming of Akron and includes a removable handle and tip, and a full length cleaning rod. The cleaning rod runs the length of the Trocar with a corkscrew tip designed for cleaning out the Trocar tip. This trocar also features two different locations to hook a pump hose to; One at the base of the handle, and one just above the end of the handle. The Trocar was used to perform who knows how many embalmings over the years. This piece could be put right back into service, if you owned an Embalming Machine machine (hint: I sell those too)
