For sale today I have a *Signed & Framed John F. Gould Newburgh Beacon Ferries on the Hudson River Painting Print Lithograph*. The item is pre-owned and in good condition. The painting itself is in very good condition, the outer portion of the frame is in fair condition as it has many chips and dings. The rear of the frame shows some water staining. The frame measures 18 x 24 inches with a 30 inch diagonal. The painting measures 14 x 20 inches with a 24 inch diagonal. The fine art piece is titled Newburgh-Beacon Ferries - February 22, 1932. The painting is hand signed by John Gould. The description attached to hotsell the rear reads: Newburgh-Beacon Ferries - February 22, 1932 In Gala Attire for the 200th Anniversary of George Washington's Birthday This nostalgic scene on Washington's Birthday, 1932, shows the Newburgh-Beacon Ferries, "Dutchess," the "City of Newburgh" moving through ice floes. The "Dutchess" was built in 1910 at the Thomas Marvel Shipyards, Newburgh, N.Y. Her run end.
