This darling faux book diorama would make a lovely gift for Mother's Day, a birthday, or simply a keepsake for a family member or friend. The covers of the book have delicate birds sitting on branches with pretty flowers while butterflies flutter about. The interior displays a vintage colored German postcard with a little girl standing next to her pet bird. To enhance hotsell this lovely scene, I used some vintage dusty rose ribbon & some beaded trim I found in my grandmother's attic (over 30 years ago-I know....I know I'm dating myself!). Pastel glittery flowers are gathered at the corners to help frame this sweet card. Inside I papered the back "wall" with antique looking paper & I used moss for the ground cover. The tree holds a tiny yellow bird to tie in with the theme of the postcard. The tree is made of wire with pastel green sparkling beads & below the tree is a vintage ceramic puppy looking longingly at the bird. A single stem of pink flowers complete this charming scene.
