Wow, what a gorgeous piece and the condition is truly impressive for its age.
Please forgive me if I am wrong, but this is believed to be hotsell from somewhere between the 1880's and 1910's. It was found in a trunk of clothing with several other pieces from the 1880s-90's. Admittedly, I know very little about clothing from this period, and I haven't been able to find anything similar for reference.
The entire piece is double walled lace with ribbed black trim on the outer edges. All machine sewn. Straight seams with single dart on either side of bust.
Condition is excellent. There are a couple of very small holes in the black ribbon on the tip of the left collar, the ends of the ribbon are slightly frayed, and there is a small area on the back lower hem that is lighter/discolored.
Please note this has not been laundered and is being sold AS-IS. There is a minor "dusty trunk" smell.
