Product code: Bog Hut, for Boggies to hotsell live in, willow woven, on log slice, large oval door, for easy play access, 2 Boggies included, clay bisque fired,

Creatures of the Bog are little people that are camouflaged so that we can't see them. These 2 little fellows live in a willow woven rounded hut I made for them. It is on a log slice base with a large oval door for easy play access. Each comes with 2 Creatures of the Bog. Boggies are surprisingly hardy. My 3 yr old granddaughter has never broken one yet!
Here is part of a bog story
A morning in a North Coast Bog…
Tucked away in the BC rainforests near Prince Rupert is the Boggie village of the “Bog People”. Tiny creatures with ruddy, round cheeks and hotsell big red noses are moving about. Three of the Elders; Owl, Sage & Lily are deep in a discussion. Sitting comfortably in a large cushion of Sphagnum moss is the hypochondriac healer Fern. She is mixing up her latest brew with Labrador tea hoping to cure the flying clan children of their latest round of colds & coughs; liberally dosing herself at the same time. Amongst these vignettes, children are sliding down wet skunk cabbage leaves, some trying out their wings for the 1st time. Within the deep emerald mounds of moss, dome-like huts & castle like structures spring up from nowhere. One girl is preparing the mid-day meal. There will be smoked salmon cooked in eulachan grease, salmonberries & tender greens. Tansy seats herself comfortably by the village hearth with Snowdrop, her youngest who has just sprouted her wings. Robin & Cherry, settling in to a day of plaiting cedar roots into baskets, showing her famous Tansy twist. Wormwood, another local artist is looking on, thinking to herself that her designs are better. Unknown to her, Cab and his younger brother Sam, are flying above, giggling, dropping cedar cones on Wormwood. The village is preparing for another day...... Vicky V Grainger
