Medieval Knight Figural Bronzed Metal Inkwell with hotsell Reticulated Plumed Helmet and Frowning Face

Vintage figural bronzed metal inkwell in the shape of a medieval Knight's head wearing a hinged helmet that opens to reveal his face and the inkwell inside.

This Knight's helmet has a reticulated visor and a plume of three graceful metal feathers on the back. When you press down on the feathers, the hinged helmet lifts up showing the Knight's frowning face. The gold rimmed inkwell on his head has a 1.5" diameter opening; the inkpot insert is missing. The underside of the inkwell is marked with a backwards "5".

The piece measures 6" tall by 4" wide by 6.5" deep, and weighs 2 lbs.
