Who would most benefit from the Pro-tocast...
- Those new to the hobby and/or those who want to learn molding, casting, and rotocasting on a simple starter level device.
- Hobbyist and artists who may have been hand rotocasting, but would like to try an entry level manual or motor driven rotocasting machine.
- Those with aspirations of designing and casting their ideas in mass, but would like an inexpensive and efficient production method to test the appeal of their product.

Who may not find this machine ideal...
- Those who already have established methods of production that they find effective and efficient (i.e. hand rotocasting, 3D printing, etc.).
- Those who are already mass producing their products on a rotocaster. Unless yours breaks, there is no reason to replace it because they all essentially work the same.
- Those with casting methods that do not complement the style in which a rotocaster would spread resin (i.e. a solid cast instead of back-filling with foam).
- Those artists or creators that need precision inner and outer frame rotation. This machine operates at a ratio of approximately 4 to 1 at the maximum recommended rotation speed (15 RPM). 15 RPM on the outer frame equates to 60 RPM on the inner frame. Of course this can go lower or higher depending on the speed, but for those who need precise ratios, we recommend you special order through the various companies that offer those types of machines.

The Pro-tocast is a 360 degree multi-rotational casting machine that makes bringing your ideas to life that much easier! Effortlessly reproduce any hand sculpted, 3D printed, or common item quickly, efficiently, and most important affordably (with the additional purchase of molding material and resins).
When you rotocast, resin is put into a mold and placed onto the rotocast machine. The machine then distributes the liquid using a 2-axis system to create a hollow, rather than solid, replica of that object.

So, whether you want to create display items for your cabinets at home or you are aspiring to reproduce your own works of art for sale, Pro-tocast is the perfect tool!

Compared to 3D printing, Pro-tocasting is...

More Cost Effective
- The cost of consumer 3D printers can range from several hundred dollars to thousands of dollars.

Less Time Consuming
- It can take several hours or more to print a large object with high quality settings on a 3D printer. In contrast, your idea could be taken from concept to reality in less than an hour.

Simple To Use
- Unlike 3D printers, molding and casting your object is extremely easy and has much less of a learning curve.

Produces Higher Quality Products
- There are no layer lines like what you would see with a 3D printer. There's no heated bed that can warp your filament and you can use most molds over and over again.

Requires Less Maintenance
- Replacement parts can be obtained inexpensively and you need nothing more than the ability to use a wrench.

Together, 3D printing and Pro-tocasting can compliment each other. 3D print your ideas, mold them, and use the Pro-tocast to easily and quickly replicate them. Some resins cure in as little as 10 minutes!

Cast Your Life
Ever worry about something happening to your valuables? With the Pro-tocast, along with your choice of molding material and resin, you can make a copy of some of your valuable items. Like your mom's favorite vase, and keep the real one safely hotsell tucked away.

Cast Your Imagination
If you can mold it, you can make it. Sky's the limit!

Cast Your Dream
Make your dreams a reality and use the Pro-tocast to launch new product ideas from toys to gadgets, the possibilities are endless.
