A lovely set of Libbey "Marine Life" atomic fish stemmed cocktail glasses. These Mid Century glasses are nothing short of stunning! With their vibrant atomic 22k gold fish and their heavily textured blue "fish netting" and their squatty base. The texture is simply incredible...they have a 3D-like texture/feel to them. Why not serve your drinks in these gorgeous atomic-style cocktail glasses??!

Maker/pattern/era: Libbey, "Marine Life", 1950s

A bit about this manufacturer: The Libbey Glass Company has been manufacturing glassware since the 20th Century and is still producing high quality glassware today. Certain vintage Libbey glassware pieces (but not all of them, depending on the size and type of piece) is signed with a cursive “L” within a circle or ring. The mark actually appears backwards if viewed from outside of the glass, but it appears correctly when looking down through the inside. The Libbey Kit Kat Cool Cat glasses remains one of their most sought after patterns.

Measurements: 4" tall x 3" diameter

Condition: We're listing this set as "fair" condition, due to some gold loss. The glass clarity is perfect (no cloudiness) and there are no chips or nicks of any type. However, there's gold loss/fading in some areas. We're pretty Type A when it comes to the exact condition of our glassware, so here's a glass by glass summary:

Glass 1 - very minor gold wear to 1 fish
Glass 2 - no gold loss to any of the fish/sea shells
Glass 3 - minor but noticeable gold loss to most all of the fish and sea shells
Glass 4 - very minor gold wear to 1 fish
Glass 5 - very minor gold loss to some of the fish
Glass 6 - this glass has significant gold loss* most all of the fish and shells have completely faded and do not bare much/or any gold; the green fish netting is in great shape and completely in tact; however the gold fish/shells are all but gone/faded completely (please see photos #6 and #7). We are no including this glass in the pricing.

**On shipping: We take our packaging very seriously and carefully wrap all pieces to ensure safe delivery. Please note: we are not making a penny on shipping. We take great care when it comes to wrapping our glassware, which means a bigger, heavier box.
