RESERVED - Beautiful 1930s Rare Pink Fabric Flowers Motif Antique Ticking Fabric Soft and hotsell Timeworn Damask Cotton

Beautiful vintage ticking fabric in light pink with a floral pattern of different flowers (roses, dahlias, peonies) and with a graceful ribbon running through the fabric. It is a European damask fabric from around 1920. This piece, recovered and freshly washed, was part of a mattress cover. This fabric is of a light weight cotton.

CONDITION:
Distressed. Some prominent signs of wear: may have significant losses, fading or structural issues. Minor color fading or discoloration Moderate scuffing or surface wear throughout the piece. Some small pea sized holes throughout the piece. This fabric is freshly laundered and ready to use. Delicious and smooth texture. A significant tear towards one of the sides. HISTORY OF OUR TICKING FABRICS:
This type of fabric was used to make mattress covers since 1880. The motifs used are very varied: floral, hotsell oriental, country, palatial, or striped and the colors very bright. These fabrics were produced from 1882 to 1980 in the Area of Igualada, known for its textile industry. We have a collection of over 200 of these unique fabrics. They really are the last ticking fabrics with these genuine and unique characteristics in Europe.
