Product code: Antique hotsell British sterling piece from Birmingham, 1900-1905, maker mark TL
This shield like silver piece has British silver marks. TL in an oval is an unidentified maker from 1903 to 1920 but no name is associated with it. The anchor is Birmingham, the lion is the British assay mark for sterling silver and the lower case d in that shape is 1900-1905. I have had this in my jewelry box for as long as I can remember and have no idea how I got it. I think I got it when I lived in NYC in my 20s. The links on top are seriously heavy gauge silver. I have never worn it. But I have owned it for at hotsell least 40 years.
